Sunset magazine is looking for a passionate, high energy, motivated Account Manager to join the Los Angeles Sales team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Maintain and grow current sales revenue
•Responsible for retention of accounts
•Responsible for servicing of existing accounts
•Work with sales staff to develop and execute sales and marketing programs
•Manage expenses within the budget
•Responsible for miscellaneous sales responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS
•Knowledge of print advertising sales and marketing practices
•Strong selling and closing skills
•Ability to obtain and dispense information through negotiation, interview, and discussion, using perseverance and persuasion as necessary
•Ability to deliver clear, concise, compelling & effective presentations
•Solid negotiating skills
•Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email software
•Approximately 20% travel
•Must have reliable transportation with valid registration and insurance
