A $100m and fast growing pre-IPO company in an exciting industry is seeking an accomplished IT Director to develop and deliver systems and services as well as a technology architecture that supports the business strategy. The role reports directly to the COO but also works closely with peers and effectively with all members of the organization. Currently the Director will have 3 direct reports: AX Developer, Systems Administrator, and Technical Support Specialist. The responsibilities include: application development and maintenance, integration and data integrity, business applications, business processes and workflow, compliance, selecting, approving, and managing all major procured IT products and services, managing IT department in an efficient, cost-effective and transparent manner, systems administration and reporting, software licenses, and release management.
Background required: technology, applications development, demonstrated business knowledge, demonstrated business and accounting acumen, and ability to prioritize competing demands. BS degree + 10 plus years experience required.
Skills: great communication and interpersonal skills, capability to articulate business case/strategy for IT investments, build effective relationships with suppliers/vendors, ablilty to hire, develop, and retain talent, and great "fit" with culture.
