Job purpose: Mobile service trailer mechanic: Maintains serviceability by conducting inspections; making trailer repairs. Some repairs will be labor intensive.
Duties: Keeps transport trailers available for use by conducting inspections and completing trailer repairs and preventative maintenance such as: PMs, brakes, trailer body repairs, component replacement and more. Able to work responsibly and independently as well as with co-workers.
Maintains inventory of mobile repair tools; follows verbal and written instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies.
Updates job knowledge by participating in training and educational opportunities as provided by employer. Will consider training an enthusiastic and dependable individual.
Enhances Trailermaster's reputation by accepting ownership for efficiency, demonstrates dependable work ethics, good time management while maintaining a high level of productivity.
Skills/Qualifications: California Drivers license; DEPENDABILITY; minimum 1 year experience; job references, job knowledge; verbal and written communication skills in the English language; attention to detail; and productivity.
