Rock-solid and high performing concern in North San Diego County seeking experienced Director of Sales and Marketing who is looking for highly ethical small-company environment, where he or she can add value, make a difference, and truly see visible results of contributions.
Position Profile:
• Five or more years of relevant and successful sales and marketing experience, preferably in a distribution environment related to manufacturing or construction.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently perform at high levels in a collaborative environment and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Strong communication skills with a track record of translating marketing strategy into operational direction and execution.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to demonstrate success through reportable outcomes both top and bottom line.
• Articulate with strong interpersonal skills for dealing with inquiries or feedback from customers, vendors and team members; ability to listen and subsequently evaluate and possibly grow product line on the basis of customer needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and familiarity with field-appropriate IT applications; experience with ERP and CRM or other analytical tools a plus.
