LifeCare Solutions is a growing leader in home care. We are recruiting a Medical Insurance Authorization Specialist who wants to excel with a company that recognizes and rewards top performance.
This position is responsible for obtaining authorizations from insurance companies and managed care organizations, obtaining physician orders and verifying medical necessity requirements for equipment/services ordered. This function must be performed accurately and within established timeframes. This important team member is vital to the company’s continued growth and ability to bill services performed.
High school diploma or GED is required. 2+ years healthcare and/or insurance experience is preferred. Professional presentation and communication skills are extremely important in this position. The desire to exceed goals established and self -discipline to accomplish those goals are also key to success in this position.
