Business is booming and we need world-class Welder to join our rapidly growing operation. Candidates must be energetic, forward thinking and reliable.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform TIG welding.
Must be able to weld steel, aluminum and stainless.
Perform occasional soldering and brazing.
Maintain a safe work environment. Work stations must be kept clean and orderly.
Issues related to health and safeties are expected to be brought to supervisor’s attention immediately.
Ability to inspect and review hardware as it is being built for quality.
Must perform regular brief inspections of all parts received for assembly whether they are inside built sub-assemblies or items that have come direct from vendors.
Qualifications and experience include:
High school diploma or GED
Welding certification from trade school a plus.
Minimum of two years experience in TIG welding.
Soldering and brazing skills a plus.
Able to follow written work instructions in English.
Capability of reading blueprints, diagrams and assembly aids.
Comfortable in asking for assembly or instruction assistance when needed.
Able to recognize quality problems in material and workmanship and alert supervisor.
Ability to use basic shop assembly tools. Hand tools, air drivers, etc.
Either previous experience or the willingness to learn soldering skills.
Physical ability to perform work while standing and able to perform occasional lifting.
Capable of working in team environment and help others as needed.
Clean DMV record is a must
