We're recruiting for a seasoned, polished marketing professional who can take ownership of all marketing communications initiatives for a growing startup. You'll report directly to the CEO of the company for this position and will drive marketing for a new technology that's already being embraced and used!
The CEO is after, more than anything, someone who can "tell the company and product story," a true professional who caninvigorate a ho-hum marketing, web, event and collateral presence and turn it into something big and exciting.
You'll manage integrated marketing initiatives across the sales lifecycle with revenue, customer acquisition, brand recognition and market presence as the metrics to define your success. Create, develop, project manage and implement integrated marketing materials and programs that define the company and its mission, increasing market share and positioning the firm as the leader in its sector.
Your charter will be accomplished primarily through, development and management of lead generation related content using traditional and online media, website content management and search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click program management, tradeshow / event management and PR campaigns. This position will contribute to the development of business strategy and will develop and implement marketing plans to accomplish business objectives.
Manage company website for effectiveness, optimization and lead management
Create, execute and track lead generation campaigns, including the creation of fulfillment materials, e-newsletters and results reporting
Manage marketing operations and systems: website (with analytics), email management, CRM
Create, maintain, and distribute sales collateral (customer case studies, product brochures, technical whitepapers, presentations, etc.) including copywriting and desktop publishing as needed
Manage online paid search campaigns and track lead conversion rates to optimize cost/lead
Develop pre-sales multimedia tools such as Flash-based demonstrations
Manage tradeshow and event schedule, including booth, messaging and event logistics
Run webinar programs, including working with analysts, partners, and customers to deliver leads and targeted messaging
Develop and track budget for marketing-related activities
Develop and act as project manager for integrated marketing programs that employ multiple delivery platforms to deliver key market messages and programs.
· Qualifications
Successful candidates should have solid experience, ideally working both for a large company marketing organization and a startup where you've had sole responsibility for marketing communications. Experience working for a technology company is important.
Must have a high degree of initiative.
Recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
Communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
Able to work effectively in all relevant forms of market communications, including print, electronic and video. ·
Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently.
Resourcefulness in solving problems
Excellent people skills and an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
B.S. required or equivalent and 8+ years of relevant experience in high tech marketing communications and lead generation
